All of his life he was a layabout (and taking liking in girly clothes, apparently), provided with what people's gratitude to his mother gave him, until the new menace of Demon King loomed over his people. Your character is a son of famous heroine who once freed the land from the evil Moon Lord's clutches.
The amount of Game Overs is also increased, as your playable character usually gives up quickly after falling victim to abuse. Story Mode is more challenging, as your character cannot benefit from Starting Bonuses, and the amount of experience available to you is limited with what you get from enemies which do not respawn. You'll mostly meet the characters you've already seen in the main game, but they're all the part of a new plot. Key differences: the map is not auto-generated you can't repeat the scenes you've already seen, encounters have scenarios exclusive to the Story Mode your class is always Enchanter. Story Mode is a unique game mode distinct from a main, Adventure mode.
